‘This module enables the programme to respond flexibly to external opportunities raised by emerging events such as those created by international partnerships, industrial links or cultural phenomena.
This may involve collaboration between students, across programmes or institutions, locally, regionally or internationally or alternatively enable the programme to respond to emerging issues from its own sector. This may be in the form of specific practices that are at risk of under-representation within the programme or the defined need to address a specific cohort area of development.
The new brief will allow me to collaborate with a site to create work that responds to that site/ area
I enjoyed our group visit to the Bronte Parsonage Museum and I have chosen this site for the project.
Romanticism and the romantic sublime continue to underpin my practice. I aim to continue these threads within the new brief to produce work that sympathetically reflects the life and times of the Bronte Family in a contemporary/ abstract way.
